Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan:
An outspoken leader for the quality of education for Jordanian children and a global advocate for education in general, you will see Queen Rania at Davos or CGI talking about her passion for primary education and children’s programs that support children’s welfare.
She has helped causes such as UNICEF. The queen has worked with Nelson Mandela, in a global movement to improve the welfare of children everywhere. She has been a long-time supporter of the Global Campaign for Education (GCE), encouraging literacy in children.
Queen Rania joined the World Economic Forums (WEF) Foundation Board in 2002 and she is also on the Foundation Board of the Forum of Young Global Leaders. She participates in panels and private sessions at the WEF on many diverse topics promoting global citizenship, youth, leadership, women, sustainability and education reform.
Queen Rania is a respected member of the global community and has earned the respect of the world because her leadership is focused on helping everyone, no exceptions. She works towards building opportunities for children so that when they enter society as adults they are prepared and can become strong leaders and professional workforce members. She is a queen who is a great example of global leadership.
